It's Rumor Time

So the two rumors today are at opposite ends of the spectrum. One says 11/25 is out. And the other says that some of December could be included. So everything is all crazy and my emotions have had it. I'll post more when I know something more concrete.

One for Mei too

Nathan and I were at Big Lots yesterday and I ran across some cute kids place mats for the table. I asked Nathan to grab three for him, his brother and sister. He then responded with "Can we get one for Mei too?"

You never know how much that blessed me. This wait has been so long and hard on the family. It's sometimes hard to keep Mei in the forefront of our family life. We have just had to move on with our daily schedules. And Mei sometimes just seems out of sight out of mind, especially with the kids.

So now we have four cute place mats on our table and that makes her not seem so far away.

Charlie: (pause) I want to go home.
Nathan: Then put on your seatbelt.

I Heart Ikea

I love Ikea.

The Talley's and the Gurr's took a day trip to Ikea in Atlanta. If you've never been...go. And block at least 3 hours to shop.

Today is Mike's 34th birthday. I especially like Mike's birthday every year because for the next 4 months we are the same age. No more pointing out the fact that I'm older. First Day of School

So the first day of school was yesterday. Charlie is entering kindergarten and Nathan is entering first grade. Madi will start three year old school next week, but wanted to be included in the picture yesterday morning. So here are my three cutie pies. Next year I'll have a picture of four cutie pies!!! Hooray!!!
