Madi's Rough Day
So anyway…Madi fell off the recliner on Tuesday. Our guess is she was playing “horsey” on the arm of the chair and fell off. She cried and favored her arm a bit that day, but by that afternoon, she was fine. We went to ball practice and while at practice, she fell running to me. She started crying and holding the same arm.
I took her to the emergency room to get her checked out. After three hours of waiting, I came back home. Let's just say "FAST TRACK" is a bunch of HUEY. Madi was running and jumping and using her arm and was generally acting like she was in tiptop shape. All day Wednesday she was fine. She played and ran and acted like herself. So, we figured she must have jammed/sprained her wrist or something.
Well today Madi tripped and fell and was holding her arm again. This time I took her to the Urgent Care place. An X-ray confirmed a broken bone in her arm. It was not bad. So I then took her to the Orthopedic Dr to have the pretty pink cast put on. What a day!!

Charlie Then and Now
Charlie is 5 today and just had to write about this special little boy. He is amazing and I tell him that everyday. Charlie is the only child in our family who has a passion for anything music. His instrument of choice is the guitar and has been since he was two. He also loves to dance to worship music. I'm afraid he puts King David to shame when it comes to dancing undignified before the Lord. :) He loves, loves to climb anything, but especially trees. Let's see....he is fantastic at puzzles, adores his Woody and Buzz, and his favorite movie right now is"Cars". Charlie is the only one in our family who is a little brother and a big brother all in one. And last but on least, he is the only one in our family who can pick up anything with his toes. :)

Sunday Evening Out * Update*
I am so excited because tonight Mike and I are going on a much need date night. There is nothing better than getting to eat dinner at reasonable pace and having a complete conversation with my husband. Don't get me wrong......I absolutely adore my children. And they really do well eating in a restaurant, but let's just say they make eating out an adventure. :) So the kids are off to grandma's and we are off for a few hours of together time. I heard someone say recently that sometimes you just need some"Hey, How are ya" time. And that's exactly what we plan to do. :)
****So things didn't pan out like we thought. But we did get some much needed shopping done. :)

So here we are....
15 months into the wait for our Mei. We know God's timing is perfect, but it sure is hard to wait. As of March 4 the CCAA(China Center of Adoption Affairs) had match babies with families logged in through October 24, 2005. We were logged in on December 12, 2005. So hopefully CCAA will get into November of 05 in April's batch. Just to give you a grasp on how long this is taking. We hope to have our referral by July or August. That will have put us at a 19 month wait just to see our daughter's picture. And then we travel 6 to 8 weeks later to pick her up from China. So in the mean time I will be maintaining this blog and taking care of my wonderful family. Oh.....and I've been think of making a 100 wishes quilt. Which should be interesting seeing I have never sewed anthing but curtains. But that's a whole other post. :)
